Click SAVE to move the entries into My Library. After executing a search in Scholar, you will see a few links at the bottom of each entry. Google Scholar will prompt you to set up your Library click ENABLE at the bottom of the Getting Started screen (you can also create your profile from this page-creating a profile will enable you to track citations to your articles and import all the articles you have saved-more information is available on the "My Citations" page of this guide). To get started, log in to your Google Account from the Google Scholar homepage > click the link at the top of the screen.

Google Scholar also offers citation tracking-click the blue "My Citations" tab above for more information. And, you can organize them for quick easy retrieval.

The MY Denver Card provides all Denver students ages 5 to 18 free access to Denver recreation centers and may be used as a library card.Google Scholar Library is an easy, convenient way for your to save results of Google Scholar searches so you can access them anytime from any computer. If you are unable to locate the material you need in our online catalog, you may request it from another library system or the Library may choose to purchase it. No need for pencil and paper, text a call number to yourself or a friend by clicking on the cell phone icon ( ) next to the availability information for an item. Students and researchers can format lists for bibliographies. Manage your lists by deleting titles, or by moving items from one list to another. Click on “Add to My List” to create a Working List for a single session, or sign in to My Account to save lists that you can refer to later. Print, Email and Save ListsĪdd titles from your search results and email, print, or save your lists. You may discontinue your Reading History at any time and all records will be erased. Delete individual titles that you don’t want to keep. View your history by title, author, check out date, format or lending library. Items will display on your Reading History upon their return. Search the catalog for what you are looking for and click on “Save Search.” Give the search a name, choose to run it weekly or monthly and you will receive an email when the library adds new items to our collection that match your search. Get email notifications for your frequent searches. English and Spanish notification options are both available. Overdue notices for items not eligible for renewal are sent at 7, 14, and 21 days overdue. Choose email or text notification to receive a courtesy notification regarding automatically renewed items and items that are coming due. Our system will automatically attempt to renew eligible checked out items one day before they are due. Courtesy Reminders and Automatic Renewals for Items Nearly Due See checkout and renewal periods for specific materials. Items in Hold Shelf status are ready for pick up and will remain on the hold shelf a total of 7 days. Note: Provisional cardholders may request up to 10 Denver Public Library items but are ineligible for Prospector and WorldCat. WorldCat requests are tracked through ILLiad’s separate Request It system and will not display in your Denver Public Library account until they are actually received at Denver Public Library. WorldCatĮach customer is limited to a total of 10 WorldCat requests at any given time. ProspectorĬustomers who have reached their 30 request limit are prevented from placing Prospector requests. Suspended requests and requests with Hold Shelf and Hold in Transit status do not count against the 30 request limit. Suspended holds will continue to move up the holds list, but will not be made available to you until reactivatedįull privilege cardholders are limited to 30 total requests. If this is not your preferred library choose a new location and select the “always use this pickup location” option Your default location is the branch where you originally registered. Choose a default pick up location for your holds.Receive holds notices by text or email, or phone.Check the status of your holds in My Account Place a hold in the library catalog to add yourself to the waiting list, or transfer items to a different Denver Public Library location.
